Jose Maria “Pepe” Reyes, Jr., 95, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 4, 2018. As a young man his passion for playing baseball was evident throughout his life. Mr. Reyes was a civilian aircraft welder in the United States Airforce for 34 years. After his retirement he taught welding with LISD before retiring from the state at the age of 70.
Mr. Reyes was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Jose Reyes; siblings Soledad and Beatriz Reyes; and his wife, Olga Reyes.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Thelma J. Martinez, Federico Martin (Sandra) Reyes, and Beatrice H. (Cesar) Flores. He was uncle to Yesenia Sanchez who he proudly walked down the aisle.
