Jose Luis De La Fuente, 82, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Mercedes De La Fuente; and brother, Rodolfo De La Fuente.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sara De La Fuente of 56 years of marriage; children, Sara Alicia (Miguel) Peña, Jose Luis (Maria Elena) De La Fuente, Laura (Raul) Madrigal, Heriberto De La Fuente, Maribel (Reynaldo) Gonzalez, Griselda (Jose) Martinez, Jesus (Rebecca) De La Fuente, Manuel (Susana) De La Fuente, Lupita (Polo) Cadena; 30 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Maria Esther De La Fuente, and Maria Guadalupe Lopez.  He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives, and many friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2023, from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, November 30, 2023 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery.
