Jorge “George” Gonzalez
April 25, 1970 – September 14, 2025
Jorge “George” Gonzalez, 55, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
George was a proud graduate of Martin High School’s Class of 1990. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he was known for his loyalty, sense of humor, and big-hearted nature.
He served with honor as a U.S. officer for the Transportation Security Administration for 22 years, where he was respected by colleagues and travelers alike for his professionalism and commitment to safety.
Outside of work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures—barbecuing for family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, and listening to Tejano music. In his younger years, he brought energy and rhythm as a sound system DJ, sharing his love of music with the community. He was also a proud member of the Pobrezza road crew, where he built lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Gonzalez Sr. and Concepcion Santos Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Leticia Sanchez; children, Jorge Aaron Gonzalez, Lesly Nicole Vergara; granddaughter, Leely Isabella Solis; siblings, Jesus (Celina) Gonzalez Jr., Jaime (Norma) Gonzalez; nieces and nephews, Austin (Mara) Ortega, Kelvin Ortega, Anthony (Kazzandra) Ortega, Alyssa Crystal Gonzalez, Amanda Amalee Gonzalez, and Alexa Grace Gonzalez; along with other loving relatives and friends.
