May 17, 1949 – September 21, 2024
Jesus Garza Jr., 75, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday September 21, 2024.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jesus Garza Jr., a beloved husband, dedicated public servant, proud Dallas Cowboys fan, and esteemed Air Force veteran. Born on May 17, 1949, in Laredo, TX, Jesus dedicated his life to serving his country, community, and faith with unwavering devotion.
Having bravely served in the Vietnam War as an Air Force veteran, Jesus brought his sense of duty and honor back home to Webb County, where he worked for over 40 years in the Webb County District Clerk Office. As the Chief Deputy District Clerk, Jesus exemplified professionalism, dedication, and integrity, earning the respect and admiration of all who had the pleasure of working with him.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jesus was a loving husband to his wife, Bernice De La Rosa, for 50 years. Their bond was a testament to love and commitment, a legacy that will endure beyond his passing. In his leisure time, Jesus found solace in watching football, particularly cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
A devout man of faith, Jesus also dedicated his time and energy to serving his church and community, spreading kindness and compassion wherever he went. His presence brought comfort to those in need, and his generosity knew no bounds.
As we reflect on the life of Jesus Garza Jr., we remember a man of unparalleled integrity, loyalty, and grace. His legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In his memory, let us cherish the moments shared, the lessons learned, and the love that Jesus bestowed upon us all. Though he may have left this world, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts. Jesus Garza Jr. will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
