It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesús Berrones, aged 63, who departed this life on April 26, 2026. Born on July 9, 1962, Jesús was a beloved son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.

A proud graduate of Martin High School, Class of 1980, Jesús pursued higher education with fervor, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northwest University and a Master’s in Education from Texas A&M Commerce. Throughout his distinguished career, he explored various fields including Business Administration, Project Management, and Education, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Jesús will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his zest for life. Together with Tom, Jesús embarked on countless travels around the globe, embracing new cultures and forging lasting friendships. His passion for dance and entertaining brought joy to many, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

He is preceded in death by his nephews, David Berrones & Christopher Ray Berrones; paternal grandparents: Juan & Francisca Berrones; and maternal grandparents: Porfirio & Micaela Sierra.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving husband of 40 years of marriage, Thomas Hubbard; his parents, Teofilo Berrones and Enedina Sierra de Berrones; his siblings, Juan Gerardo (Nora) Berrones, Imelda B. (Agathon) Soler, Enedina Berrones, Margarita B. (Alonso) Chavez, Frances B. (Arturo) Johnson, Raymond (Daniela) Berrones, Jose Guadalupe (Sara) Berrones; his Godchildren, Christian Daniel Chavez, Isabella Nicole Martinez, MaryJo Berrones, Pamela Villarreal Garcia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, May 3, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd, where a Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday morning, May 4, 2026, departing at 10:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alonso Chavez, Christian Daniel Chavez, Arturo Johnson, John Christian Berrones, Rudy John Andrew Martinez, and Pamela Villarreal Garcia.
