It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jessica Martinez, born on October 26, 1981, who departed this life on October 9, 2025. Jessica embodied the spirit of joy and togetherness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Jessica cherished her time spent at family gatherings, where her laughter and infectious enthusiasm created cherished memories. Her passion for life was expressed through her love of music, particularly the vibrant melodies of Selena Quintanilla y los Dinos, which often moved her to sing and dance with boundless joy. Jessica's radiant spirit and unwavering positivity were a source of inspiration to all who crossed her path. In her giving and loving spirit Jessica donated her organs so that other families can have the gift of life through her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jose Maria Martinez and Julieta Martinez; maternal grandfather, Stanley Magee; nephews, Miles Isaac Garza and Aiden Isaiah Garza.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sandra Magee (Jesus) Yzquierdo; father, Ricardo (Sara) Martinez; siblings, Venessa Magee, Crystal Martinez, Justin (Daniela) Magee, Amber (Miles) Garza; nephews and nieces, Patrick Aldape, Juv Caleb Aldape, Madison Ann Garza, Jacob Castaneda III, Aubrey Nicole Magee, McKenzie Rae Magee, Isabel Rae Garza; and her maternal grandmother, Rosa Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Memorial discourse will take place at 7:00 p.m.
