Jean Villarreal, 79, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 05, 2022. She entered the gates of heaven peacefully from her home in Dallas, Texas.
Jean was a faithful supporter of the Church of the Crossroads where she was never one to miss a service and was dedicated to worship. She was passionate about many things, among them were her faith, her family, and her business. She was steadfast in her role as a leader and took command in every situation, both familiar and extraordinary. She was the ultimate boss! Jean was a graceful and classy woman who loved adventure, travel, and was known for her impeccable taste in home décor. The love she had for Bentley and Bugatti, her dogs, was only exceeded by the unconditional love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was as much a family woman as she was a faithful friend. Her elegance, grace, and generosity will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in passing by: her beloved husband, Dan S. Villarreal; parents, Dean and Gladys Lindquist; daughter, Lisa Booher; and siblings, Ann Kahn and Robert Lindquist.
Left to cherish her memory are: her loving children, Lance (Anna) Villarreal, Daniel (Barbara) Villarreal, and Melinda (Gus) Llanos; grandchildren, Monica (Justin) Doyle, Daniel (Alejandra) Villarreal, Jr., Alina Slusher, Lance Villarreal, II, Breana Villarreal, Alexander (Emma) Friedman, Ashley (Ricardo) Ramirez, Jennifer Villarreal, Aliya Friedman, and Aaron Friedman; great-grandchildren, Laila Fountain, Logan Slusher, Ellanie Villarreal, Roman Slusher, Nicholas Villarreal, and Ryan Ramirez; and sister, Donna (Mike) Miller. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Friday morning, July 15, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by a Celebration Service at the Church of the Crossroads, 1301 International Blvd.
Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Lance Villarreal, Danny Villarreal, Sr., Gus Flores, Danny Villarreal, Jr., Lance Villarreal, II, Alexander Friedman, Aaron Friedman, Justin Doyle, Matthew Marks, and Ricardo Ramirez.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation in her memory to the building of the Crossroads Family Center at the Laredo Church of the Crossroads by visiting www.thecrossroads.org/give.
