Jean Contreras

Jean G. Contreras, 86, known to many as Grannie, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. She was born in Chichester, Susser, England. Grannie loved her garden, cup of tea, spending time with loved ones, and giving back to the community. Grannie loved to knit and would knit caps for premature babies at the hospital.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen G. Contreras; as well as all her brothers and sisters.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Judy Breaux, Helen Kinneman, Caroline Marshall, Isabel G. Ruiz; grandchildren, Kimberly K. Garwood, Stephen A., Nathan J., Heather K. Felix, Jonathan, Jeoffrey Westbury, Christabel M. Gutierrez, Grace Marie Samuels; great grandchildren,-Colin James Garwood, Revolution Fighter Felix, and Audrina Garcia.
