Israel Mata Jr.

Mr. Israel Mata, Jr., 68, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beatriz, D. Mata; his children, Linda E. Mata, Israel Mata III, JoAnn F. Mata, Juan E. Diaz, Isabel and Thomas, Israel and Rosie, David Israel (Rosie Rios) Mata; grandchildren, Lyric, Cruz, Ian, Leona, Jose, Jeremiah, Kimberly, Lysette, Erick Israel Mata, David Israel Mata, Jr., Diego and Leo; his siblings, Irma Mata, Carlos del Valle, Leticia Salas, Alberto Martinez, and Angie Salas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:40 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass at 11:00 a.m.

A private inurnment will follow at a later date.
