Inosencio Fred Alaniz, Jr., 79, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. 

 

Inosencio dedicated 54 years of his life to the pharmacy industry, starting his career at Kroger's, then moving to HEB, Medicine Shoppe, and finally at CVS. His passion for helping others and commitment to his profession were unwavering, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he served.

 

A loving husband, he and his wife, Sylvia Alaniz, celebrated 55 years of marriage, creating countless cherished memories along the way. Together they traveled the world, exploring new places and experiencing new adventures. The couple's last anniversary celebration in Hawaii was a testament to their enduring love and companionship.

 

Inosencio's love for his family was evident in everything he did. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, always providing support, guidance, and unwavering love. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.


He was preceded in death by his parents Inosencio and Adelfa Alaniz.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Sylvia Alaniz; his children, Annette (Randall) Abdallah, Thomas (Wendy) Alaniz, and Jennifer (Anton) Svensson; grandchildren, Madeline Abdallah, William Abdallah, Mary Ann Alaniz, Kevin Alaniz, and Fredrik Svensson; brothers, Rudy (Leticia) Alaniz, and Ray (Margot) Alaniz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday evening, March 9, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

 

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Seaside Funeral Home, 4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412, on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 12 noon. 

 

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: Family and friends, coworkers, doctors and nurses at Laredo Medical Center.
