Homero Raul Negrete, 85, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Margarita Negrete; daughter, Cristina Villagomez; parents, Aniceto and Cristina Negrete; brother, Jorge Americo Negrete.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Rosario Negrete, Homero Raul (Patricia) Negrete Jr., Josefina Negrete, Dalia Negrete, Isela (Sabas †) Gonzalez, Adriana Negrete, Veronica (Alberto) Martinez, and Alejandro (Gloria) Negrete; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, May 30, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, May 31, 2025 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jose Garza, Alberto Martinez Jr., Alexis Martinez, Homero Raul Negrete III, Sebastian Villagomez, Sergio Negrete, Edgar Gonzalez and Juan Moreno
