Mrs. Herminia E. Pro, 88, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 21, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Fausto & Socorro Esquivel; husband, Gilberto Pro, Sr.; son, Gerardo Pro; and sisters, Martha Schwebel and Socorro Quijano.

Surviving her are her children: Dr. Veronica (Dr. Bill) Pro-Covington, Gilberto (Dr. Amy M) Pro Jr., Gilda (Timothy) Pro-Short, Guillermo (Alma F.) Pro and Geraldine (Juan Carlos) Pro-Barron; grandchildren: Christina C. (John) Luikart, Jennifer (John Powell) Covington, Dr. Elizabeth (Dr. Robert Nidetz) Covington, Jeffrey Paul (Katie) Pro, Melissa (Dr. Dennis) Pro-Wilkinson, Stephen Short, Kathryn Short, Carolina J. Pro, Gilberto A. Pro, Sofia G. Pro and Isabella M. Pro; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings: Juan Esquivel, Fausto (Rachel) Esquivel, and Leticia (Gilberto) Martinez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to her caregiver Rosi Sanchez and to ABC Home Health for their care and attention.

The family will gather on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
