Gustavo "Brandon" Benavides, 29, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 10, 2010.-His loss has profoundly left a void in the hearts of those who knew him and cared for him.
  
  
  Brandon was a loving, caring and compassionate person who loved spending time with his family, including his longtime loving wife, Melissa.-He also had a passion for hunting, and most importantly, his dogs, one in particular, "China."-He was such an admirable and intelligent human being.-There was never anything you could ask him that he didn't know the answer too.-He was so amazing in so many ways, and will be greatly missed and cherished by all.
  
  
  Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jack and Dora Pollock; paternal grandparents: Refugio and Imelda Benavides, and his uncle Eduardo Benavides.
  
  
  He is survived by his loving wife:-Melissa Sanchez Benavides; Father: Gustavo Guillermo Benavides; Mother: Leticia Pollock Gallegos; brothers and sisters: Leticia (Lazaro) Moreno, Danelli (Hector) Cortez, Francisco (Patti) Benavides, Gustavo Benavides, Jr., Rosita Benavides, Sheldon Gallegos,-sister-in-law:-Michelle Williams, in-laws: Linda and Adrian Hinojosa, and his aunts: Dora (Rodolfo) Vidaurri, Mercedes Perez, and Rosario Mendoza.-He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other loved relatives.
  
  
  Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.-A Memorial Service will commence at 10:30 a.m.-Monsignor James Harris will be officiating.
