GUADALUPE CANTU
January 30, 1918 - April 18, 2011
Mrs. Guadalupe Cantu, 93, entered the loving embrace of her heavenly father on Monday, April 18, 2011.
Guadalupe was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family and her Catholic Community of Christ the King Church, where she was a life-long parishioner and member of the Sociedad de Damas de Cristo Rey.-Guadalupe was a retired nurse of Mercy Hospital and after her retirement dedicated her time to the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by her loving husband Pedro Cantu Sr.; her son, Pedro Cantu Jr.; mother, Donaciana Merla; brother, Carlos Rodriguez; and her aunt, Angelita Merla.
She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Garcia, Imelda Cantu; sons, Carlos (Yolanda) Cantu, Mauricio (+Crystal) Cantu, Dr. Dennis (Lisa J.) Cantu; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pete Cantu III, Charlie Cantu, Richard Cantu, Hector Garcia, Keith Kearley, and Steve Havelka.
