Gloria Hansen

Gloria M. Hansen, entered into eternal rest to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 08, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria was born in Laredo, Texas and graduated from Martin High School.

She loved to travel and see the world which served as her inspiration to become an airline stewardess for Pan American Airlines after graduating high school. She later worked for Laredo Independent School District. After leaving the school district, she pursued a career in Real Estate and became a Broker.

Gloria was a devoted mother, and grandmother. She was always delighted to see and spend time with her two grandchildren and was very involved in her grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Susana F. Merse; and her aunt: Maria R. Fierros.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved daughter: Suzanne (Bryon) Alford; her two grandchildren whom were her pride and joy: Susanna A. Alford and Noah H. Alford; as well as many relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, December 15, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, December 16, 2019 for a Mass of Christian Burial at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Everyone who will be attending is asked to please meet at church.

Pallbearers will be: Bryon A. Alford, Noah H. Alford, and Ernesto E. Cavazos.

All services will conclude after Mass; a Private Interment will be held at a later date.
