Gloria Cardenas

Gloria J. Cardenas, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the age of 90.-Gloria was born on March 31, 1923 in Laredo, Texas.-

After graduating from high school she became a civil service worker in which she devoted 29 years to.-She was a devout Catholic with faith that was the envy of all, but that guided her life daily in all that she did.-She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband: Raul Cardenas, Sr.; brothers: Andres Ortiz, Mike Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, and her sister: Anna Maria Ortiz.

She is survived by her loving and devoted son: Raul Cardenas, Jr.; daughter in law: Lyndy Cardenas; grandchildren: Christopher (Megan) Cardenas, Joseph Michael Cardenas, and Matthew Casey Cardenas; her 1 great-granddaughter: Madelyn Cardenas; sister: Kathy Bowen; sister in law: Sara Ortiz; nephews: Randy Bowen, Roberto Ortiz, Joey Ortiz, and niece, Patty Ortiz.-She is also survived by numerous other loved relatives and friends.
