February 20, 1936 – September 3, 2022
Gilberto S. Madrigal joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the age of 86. He passed peacefully with his beloved children by his side.
Gilberto was born on February 20, 1936 in General Trevino Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was known to friends and family as “El Beton”. Ever the loving husband, Gilberto visited his wife every day when she stayed in nursing home care for the past 8 years.
He was a very charismatic person that took great joy in telling stories and jokes to those around him. He loved to make people laugh and was the life of the party. He enjoyed traveling to the beach, feeding the seagulls, dancing, cooking for his family, and watching television. He especially enjoyed Clint Eastwood and Cantinflas movies. His greatest treasure, however, was spending quality time with his beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will forever live on in their memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gilberto Madrigal Madrigal and Lucila Salinas Vela de Madrigal.
