GERARDO GAONA SR. September 29, 1958 - March 05, 2014 Gerardo Gaona Sr., 55, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was a strong and loving man with a generous heart; always willing to lend a hand. He was so loved and will be truly missed and never be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gaona; his father-in-law, Victor A. Uribe; and brother, Cesar Gaona. He is survived by his loving wife, Nora U. Gaona; Mother, Maria Antonia Gaona; Mother-in-Law, Angelina Uribe; children, Stephanie Gaona, Jenny Gaona, Gerardo Gaona Jr., Nora "Peaches" Gaona; siblings, Loudres Gaona, Manuel (Christine) Gaona Jr., Gil Gaona, Liza Gaona and 4 grandchildren, Jacob B. Navarro, Austin D. Navarro, Jordan A. Olivarez and Benjamin A. Olivarez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 09, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christina Burial at 9 a.m. Funeral services will conclude after the Mass with a private inurnment being held at a later date.
