Gaby died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 11, 2018.
Gaby was loved by all who knew her. She had a kind and generous heart and radiated a sincere caring for everyone. She was funny and could make you laugh out loud with her great impressions. Gaby always went out of her way to help anyone in need. She was a unique personality and will be missed by all who were touched by her.
Gaby loved animals and rescued many in her lifetime including her beloved dog, Pepe. She also loved nature and took many photos of the beautiful sunsets we have here in Laredo. When she would take a picture of clouds with sunrays emanating from them she would say “Look at the beauty of God”. She loved our Lord and Savior and made daily visits to the Adoration chapel at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Gaby attended St. Mary’s Hall in San Antonio and graduated from Nixon High School. She graduated from Texas A & M International University with a degree in Sociology.
She is survived by her loving parents: Ramon and Maria Eugenia Salido; sisters: Tiki (Jack) Avigael, Sandra Salido; aunts and uncles: Adriana Barrera, Mary Kathryn Longoria, Francisco (Diana) Salido, Rebecca Salido, († Eduardo), Laura († Alejandro) Diez Barroso; niece and nephew: Cristina Cabezut and Elliot Avigael; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Friday morning, the 15th of June 2018 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a funeral service will commence at 11:30 a.m.
