Psalm 23:1-6
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.-He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.-He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.-Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.-Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over..-Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Israel Tijerina, 23, was called to be with God on Saturday, March 02, 2013 at his home.-Isri graduated from United High School in 2008.-He was a great son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend.-He will be greatly missed.

Isri was an outstanding baseball player with great accomplishments throughout his high school years.-His former baseball coach, JJ Gomez was a positive influence on guiding him to several successful seasons.

He was preceded in death by his great-grand maternal grandparents:-Francisco and Juanita Mancha.

Israel is survived by his parents, Rodolfo (Alicia) Tijerina and Araceli (Oscar Mendoza, Jr.) Galvan Rivera; brothers,-Rodolfo (RJ) Tijerina, Jr., David Cantu, Leroy "LJ" Rivera, Jr., Isaac Jon Rivera; sister,-Yessenia Rivera; niece, Alessandra Rodriguez-Tijerina; paternal grandparents, Samuel (Estela) Tijerina, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Francisco (Maria) Galvan from Indiana;-uncles: Samuel (Yolanda) Tijerina, Jr., Roberto (Carmen) Tijerina, Daniel (Beth) Tijerina, David (Nydia) Tijerina, Alvaro (Brenda) Tijerina, Francisco Galvan, Jr. from Indiana; aunts,-Minerva (Jorge) Martinez, Elsa (Eduardo) Perales, Belinda (Joe) Herrera from Indiana, Celina (Darrell) Galvan-Dunn (US Navy-Japan), numerous cousins, relatives, friends.
