Francisco Donovan

Francisco "Hecky" Donovan, 72, entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 29, 2012.

Hecky was preceded in death by his loving, caring, and beautiful wife of 34 years,-Diana L. Donovan; his parents, Francisco and Juana G. Donovan, and brother, Andres Donovan.

He is survived by his sons,-Daniel (Juanita) Donovan of Laredo, TX., and David Donovan of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by his grandchild, Christina Lyzette Donovan; siblings, Humberto (Janie) Donovan, Xavier (Raquel) Donovan, Lloyd (Velma) Donovan, and Beatriz (Eric) Doncaster.

He is a 1958 graduate of Martin High School and was a faithful member of the class of '58 and supportive of his classmates.-After serving in the U.S. Army Reserves, he then devoted 30 years to TX Department of Transportation, and was also a founding member of Club Musico Social LA*RE*DO.

Hecky most enjoyed passing time with family and friends and especially looked forward to the conversations, laughs, and jokes at gatherings.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to his close friends and caregivers,-Eddie and Rose Kleppinger, the nurses at Laredo Medical Center 5C,-Dr. Arturo Garza-Gongora, Dr. Anthony Galan,-Constable Rudy Rodriguez, Jr. and their staffs for all their care, attention, compassion, and friendship provided to dad and our family.
