Fernando Jesús García Heredia

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Fernando García, ocurrido el miércoles 23 de septiembre de 2026. Nacido el 11 de agosto de 1943, Fernando fue un esposo, padre y abuelo amoroso, cuyo espíritu seguirá presente a través del cuidado y el cariño que siempre brindó. Dedicó su vida a su familia, al trabajo y al querido rancho que tanto apreciaba. Hombre de una entrega inquebrantable, encarnó las virtudes del trabajo arduo, la compasión y el amor, dejando una huella imborrable en quienes tuvieron el honor de conocerlo.

Le preceden en fallecimiento sus padres, Fernando García Ramos y Rebecca Heredia, y su hermano, Eduardo García Heredia.

Su memoria será recordada por su esposa, Alicia Jiménez García; sus hijos, Fernando García Fontes (Thelma), Oly García Fontes (Fernando García Balderrama), Gerardo García Fontes (Bárbara Salazar de García†), y José García (Leslie); sus nietos, María Fernanda García, Fernando García y Diego Fernando García, Alejandro García, Juan Pablo García, José Andrés García, Barbara García, Alejandra García y Jackie García; sus hermanas, Rebecca García Salido, Josefina García Deleon y Angelina García Elizondo; además de un gran número de sobrinas, sobrinos, demás familiares y amigos queridos.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fernando García on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Born on August 11, 1943, Fernando was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose spirit will live on through the care and affection he always shared. He dedicated his life to his family, his work, and the beloved ranch he cherished so deeply. A man of unwavering devotion, he embodied the virtues of hard work, compassion, and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando García Ramos and Rebecca Heredia, and his brother, Eduardo García Heredia.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Alicia Jimenez Garcia; his children, Fernando Garcia Fontes (Thelma), Oly Garcia Fontes (Fernando Garcia Balderrama), Gerardo Garcia Fontes (Barbara Salazar de Garcia†), and Jose Garcia (Leslie); his grandchildren, Maria Fernanda Garcia, Fernando Garcia, and Diego Fernando Garcia, Alejandro Garcia, Juan Pablo Garcia, Jose Andres García, Barbara Garcia, Alejandra Garcia, and Jackie Garcia; his sisters, Rebecca Garcia Salido, Josefina Garcia Deleon, and Angelina Garcia Elizondo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday morning, September 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Rosary will commence at 2 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, September 29, 2026, departing at 3:30 p.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 4 p.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
