ESTELA PALACIOS

October 6, 1961 – February 7, 2022

Estela Palacios, 60, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, February 7, 2022.

Estela was truly one of a kind; she had the biggest heart and always put others before herself. She was the epitome of a mother and was nurturing to her core. She had a special place in her heart for her family and her biggest passions were spending time with her loved ones, playing Candy Crush, and generally being happy wearing her sunny, jubilant smile. She always made sure to remember everyone’s birthday and never missed a single one. Her tradition was baking each birthday girl or boy a unique cake. Her sweet tooth was as sweet as her personality and was known to always have candies and desserts around. Her radiant charm, warmth, and thoughtfulness have always been an inspiration to her husband and to her entire family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to have known her.

She was preceded in passing by her father, Mario Sauceda Martinez; son, Mario Jesus Palacios; and grandparents, Rodolfo and Angela Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Luis Gregorio Palacios; their adored children, Luis Gregorio Palacios, Jr., Juan Isidro (Joycelyn) Palacios, Pedro Miguel Palacios, Ricardo Rafael (Kassandra Martel) Palacios, Maria del Rosario Palacios; and granddaughter, Julianna Ariana Palacios. She is further survived by her mother, Alicia Martinez; and siblings; Mario (Rose) Martinez, Jr., Sylvia (Jaime Eduardo) Martinez, Hilda (Javier) Castillo, Araceli (Luis Eduardo) Rodríguez, Sergio Martinez, Beatriz (Santiago) Flores, Nora García, and Margarita (Isidoro III) Gallegos; and her grand-fur babies, pups - Daisy, Kairi, Layla, Lucy, Loki, Elsie, and Holly, and cats – Amber and Link; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, February 10, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, February 11, 2022 departing at 8 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Luis Gregorio Palacios, Jr., Juan Isidro Palacios, Pedro Miguel Palacios, Ricardo Rafael Palacios, Michael Thomas Palacios, Joshua Joseph Palacios, Ángel Francisco Hernández and Eduardo González.
