Elizabeth Notzon

April 6, 2013 — October 17, 2010

Mrs. Elizabeth H. Notzon, beloved wife of Claude Notzon, mother of five plus one, grandmother of seven, and great grandmother to nine more, all of whom are eternally grateful for her extraordinary strength, boundlessly loving kindness, devotion to our Lord and His Church and her passionate but quiet love of life passed to the loving arms of her God to whom she devoted her life, Sunday, October 17, 2010 in the company of her children and devoted care takers.

A teacher who taught the children and sometimes grandchildren of her former students.-Elizabeth will be remembered most for her tirelessly selfless concern for others, her undaunted good nature in the face of trial and tribulation and the prodigious reserved strength that allowed such grace and kindness even at life's most difficult moments. She shall forever be an inspiration for those she leaves on this earth.

Elizabeth was preceeded in death by her loving husband of 40 years Claude A. Notzon; parents, Daniel Harbert Hickey and Ethel Craven Hickey; and her brother, Dan H. (Virgina N.) Hickey Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth N. Hardcastle, Marguerite R. Notzon; sons, Michael C. Notzon, Sam (Wanda) Notzon, Jan A. Notzon; grandchildren, David Hardcastle, Geoffrey-Hardcastle, Nathan Hardcastle, Christopher Jorgensen, Charles Notzon, Dan Notzon, Monica E. Notzon; as well as 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

The family has many devoted friends and relatives to thank for their help and kindness, especially her loving and caring nephew Rod Notzon, Nick and Sandy Villarreal, Ruth Hernandez, Suzie Schaffer, and Celia Botello for 41 years of faithful service and friendship.

Elizabeth, your life has been and is now an example for all to emulate. May the Lord you have loved with all your heart and soul hold you now in his loving embrace.
