Elia G. Guerra, 93, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose F. Guerra III; parents, Manuel B and Elena, Montemayor Garcia; son, Robert G. Guerra; siblings: Ruben M. Garcia, Hector G. Garcia, Aida G. Cuellar, and Sergio M. Garcia.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Ruben F. Guerra (Sandra), Javier Guerra (Gloria Leal), Oscar Guerra (Carol) and Joseph F. “Joey” Guerra, grandchildren, siblings: Amelia (Richard) Luxford, Manuel (Bertha) Garcia III and as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday morning, January 16, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels 1410 Jacaman Rd, where a rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Procession will depart at 10:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Javito Guerra, Ruben R. Guerra, Joseph Frans Guerra, Lorenzo Guerra, Robert A. Guerra,
