Dorothy Ann Neumann, 76, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, October 29, 2018.
Dorothy was always dedicated to helping others and was a valued employee of the United Way where she held the position of Administrative Assistant to Peggy Duncan. She volunteered her time and counsel as a Troop Leader with the Girl Scouts. As a woman of great faith, she was a parishioner of First United Methodist Church where she held the position of Treasurer and was a member of the church’s choir. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry “Hank” Neumann; parents, John Henry and Betty Angeline Webber; brother, John Henry Webber, III; and sister, Mary Louise Webber.
Left to cherish her memory are her adored children, James Henry (Gloria) Neumann, Robert Michael (Michelle) Neumann, Betty Neumann, and Charles Edward (Sonia) Neumann; grandchildren, Alexander James, Catherine Gloria, Matthew, Cristian, and Oliver Nicolai Neumann; and sister, Sandra Sue Webber; as well as numerous other loved relatives. She is further survived by her longtime friends and co-workers, Peggy Duncan, Norma Lozano, and Elizabeth Luna.
The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, November 02, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.
A Chapel Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, November 03, 2018.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.
