Dora Alicia Pizaña, 86, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Dora will be remembered for the warmth she carried in her heart and the love she so freely gave to everyone around her. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, treasuring every laugh, every story, and every simple moment shared together. Being surrounded by family was where she felt most at home, and her presence created a sense of comfort, belonging, and unconditional love.
She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace in nature’s beauty. Whether tending to her garden or simply enjoying fresh air and sunshine, Dora felt most alive with her hands in the soil, nurturing life and watching it bloom. Gardening was one of her many expressions of care a reflection of how she tended to the people she loved.
Dora also expressed her love through cooking. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, where family and friends gathered not only for meals, but for connection. Every dish she prepared was made with intention and heart, filling both homes and spirits.
Above all, Dora was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She had a gentle strength, a generous spirit, and a way of making everyone feel seen and cherished. Her love was steady, patient, and unwavering a gift that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesus Agustin Pizaña; her son, Jesus Pizaña; her parents, Roman Garcia and Avelina Teneyuque; her siblings, Oscar Garcia, Oralia Garcia, and Juan Roman Garcia.
