DERLY NOEL RAMIREZ
Derly Ramirez, 89, of Laredo TX passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Derly was born in Laredo, Texas but spent his youth in San Ygnacio, Texas. He graduated from Martin HS in Laredo and soon after married Guadalupe Garcia (deceased, 2000) in 1953. He was called to serve his country for the Army in Korea soon after his marriage. On returning from overseas, he started his career with Southwestern Bell. That dedicated career would span four decades. His passion was his magnificent ranch. After retirement he devoted his time to his ranch house, cattle and fields. Derly spent an entire year documenting weather every day - at different times of the day - to prepare his own farmers almanac. In his later years, he traveled the world with his travel partner and enjoyed every moment!
Derly is survived by his travel partner Mrs. Anita Doncaster, sisters Azucena McGuire of San Antonio, Violeta Uribe of Laredo, and brother Hugo Ramirez of Houston, his children - from Houston son - Derly N. Ramirez II (wife Kathy Thornton-Deceased) daughter- Elda G. Ramirez (husband Robert Jezyk) and their children Mireya C. Jezyk and James (JD) Jezyk of Corpus Christi and from Laredo Daughter - Maria Rosaldo (husband Inocente Rosaldo) and their daughter Lorena Rosaldo.
The service for the celebration of his wonderful life will be held at his ranch on Saturday, December 29th 2018 with a rosary in his chapel at 2 pm.
