DAVID SANCHEZ, JR.

May 25, 1974- February 4, 2024

David Sanchez, Jr., 49, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, February 4, 2024. 

David dedicated 16 years of his career to the District Attorney's Office, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he spent 5 years at the Webb County Auditor’s Office. Through his work, he demonstrated unwavering commitment and professionalism, leaving a lasting impact on all those he worked alongside.

Beyond his career, David had many passions and interests. He was a fitness enthusiast and would frequent the gym, valuing the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle. David was an avid football fan, passionately rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He also admired and followed the career of Lebron James, lovingly referring to him as "The King." Basketball played a significant role in David's life since his time in middle school, and he cherished the memories made on the court. In his free time, David enjoyed gathering with his friends for Sunday football and cooking out.

In his leisure time, David enjoyed traveling to new places and creating lasting memories with his friends. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephews, always finding joy in bringing laughter and delight to their lives through his playful nature and clowning around.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Sanchez, Sr.; his brother, Pablo Sanchez.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Rosario Adriana Cardenas; his mother, Maria Luisa Sanchez; his siblings, Rosa (Jose Alberto) Castro, Patricia (Adrian) Esparza, and Carlos Sanchez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, February 12, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, February 13, 2024 with a Chapel Service commencing at 10 a.m. 

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
