DAVID MENDIOLA

May 10, 1952 – August 29, 2025

David Mendiola, 73, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, August 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andres Mendiola and Zulema Sanders; his siblings, Rosario “Cherry” Gonzalez, Araceli “Sally” Tedder, Judy Mendiola, Sandra Mendiola and Andres Mendiola Jr.; his brothers in law, Carlos Gonzalez, Bob Tedder and Oscar H. Garza Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 25 years of marriage Lamar Mendiola; his children, David (Rosa Torres) Mendiola, Jr, Marco Trinidad Mendiola and Omar Leo Mendiola; his grandchildren, Isabella Mendiola, Olivia Mendiola, Marco Angel Mendiola and Jordan Mendiola; his sister, Zulema M. Garza; his sister-in-law, Graciela Mendiola; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, September 7, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
