Consuelo Mata, 103, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 with her family by her side.

Consuelo Mata was preceded in death by her husband Melquiades Mata, daughter Margarita Mata, sons Miguel Mata, and David Mata.

She is survived by her children Teresa (Teodulo") Cardenas, Ofelia (Jesus") Moncada, Virginia (Arturo") Martinez, Ricardo (Beatriz) Mata, Javier Mata, and Jose Luis (Rita) Mata.-She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.-She was adored by her loving and extended family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.-

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road from 5 to 9 in the evening.-A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.-Cortege will depart at 8:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels.

Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
