Charles Dickinson Jr.

Mr. Charles B. Dickinson, Jr., 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at a local hospital. Mr. Charles Dickinson, Jr. was born in Laredo, Texas on July 27, 1937.

Charles was predeceased by his father Charles B. Dickinson; his brother William J. Dickinson; and granddaughters, Dorothy Ann Corona and Sonia Angelia Corona.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years of marriage, Mary L. Dickinson; his mother Bertha G. Dickinson; his children, Charles B. Dickinson III, Katherine (Joseph) Corona, Joseph S. (Laura) Dickinson, Michael A. (Esther) Dickinson; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous loving relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. Procession will then depart the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery; where Military Honors will be rendered by American Legion Post 59 and Fort Sam Houston Honor Guard.
