He is survived by his sister, Dona Alicia (Jesse) Penalver; brother, Juan J. (Mara del Carmen) Moreno; and nieces and nephews, David, Mark, Thelma and Johnny Tijerina, Jess, Carmina, Tony and Jaime Moreno and Eric Penalver.
