Carlos M. De Lachica

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Carlos M. de Lachica, beloved son, husband, father, and uncle, who joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon D. Martinez.

Left to cherish his memory are his husband, James. E Vargas; the mother of his children, Ana Maria R. Petrov, his children, Maria Carmela de Lachica and Ernesto Santiago de Lachica; his mother, Carmela L. Martinez; and his siblings, Leticia R. (David Meadows) Martinez and Ramon Ernesto Martinez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Services were held privately by the family.
