Benita S. Sanchez
April 3, 1935-April 13, 2022
Mrs. Benita S. Sanchez, 87, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
Our beloved mother and grandmother was an extraordinary individual, full of faith, had the kindest soul and the biggest heart. Her love for God was seen through her actions for others. She welcomed everyone with an open heart and an open door. She expressed her love for her family and friends by sharing her recipes, hosting family gatherings, and always making the best of the holidays. She planned yearly summer vacation to provide meaningful experiences and everlasting memories for her loved ones. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as great-great-grandchildren, and enjoyed spending moments with them and took great pride in having lived to see five generations. Her love for nature was evident through her gardening. Her green thumb made her plants thrive and bloom like no other. She also shared her heart and joy with her beloved dog, Angel, who never left her side. Life at the ranch was incredibly special because of her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eduardo Jose Sanchez, Sr.; daughter Sylvia Sanchez Ramos; great-grandson Baby Raymond Medellin III; parents, Felipe and Lucinda Sotelo; brothers, Pedro, Francisco, Fernando, and Reynaldo Sotelo.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maria Luisa (Jesus) Carrizales, Sr., Maria Guadalupe Macias, Eduardo Jose (Mireya) Sanchez, Jr., Ricardo A. (Maria Margarita) Sanchez, Roberto Sanchez, Diana Sanchez, Benita Baby Magaña and Marco Antonio (Monica) Sanchez; 25 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Berta Soto, Feliz Salazar, Maria Magdalena Sotelo, Felipe (Antonia +) Sotelo, Jr., Roberto “Mario” (Jazmin) Sotelo, and Oscar Sotelo. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Angel; along with numerous other loving relatives and friends.
