BEATRIZ MARTINEZ AZIOS

October 30, 1931- October 30, 2023

Beatriz Martinez Azios, 92, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, October 30, 2023, on her

92nd birthday.

Beatriz was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who lit up a room with her endless smile and joyous energy. She radiated love through her kindness, sincerity and compassion. She was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jose M. Azios; her parents, Guadalupe and Juanita

Martinez; her daughter Rosie Azios de Anda; her siblings, Jesus Martinez, Esperanza Garcia, Alicia Morales,

Amelia Martinez, Consuelo Guerra, Guadalupe Martinez, and Maria Luisa Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Laura A. (Jamie) Milks, Adriana A. (Barry) Reed, and Rebecca

Azios; son in law, Camilo De Anda; grandchildren, Christina de Anda, Rebecca de Anda, Polo (Dora) de Anda,

Lauren (Ricky) Menchaca, Lisa (Jose) Avedillo, Evelyn Milks, Jordan K. Reed, Janice Reed, Natalie Reed, Jose

“Joe” Luis Benavides, and Beatriz Benavides; great-grandchildren, Camilo de Anda, Luke, Shelby, and Adam

Menchaca, Sofia, and Olivia Avedillo; sister-in-law, Alta Gracia Azios Garcia; as well as numerous nieces,

nephews, relatives and friends.

The daughters would like to thank Dr. Dennis Cantu and St. Jude’s Specialty for the exceptional care they

provided for their mother.

Private services were held by the family.
