Arabella Adame

Arabella G. Adame, loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and mother-in-law, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the age of 68.

Arabella was born in Laredo, Texas on December 14, 1949. She graduated from Martin High School in 1966, LJC in 1968 and Texas Woman’s University in 1970. She began her educational profession teaching Math and Spanish at Martin High School from 1970 to 1975. Upon marrying her high school sweetheart Eddie Adame in 1975, Arabella continued her teaching career in San Antonio and Austin. She taught at Burbank High School, Albert Sidney Johnston High School, Austin High School and San Juan Diego Catholic High School. She was an educator in Laredo, San Antonio and Austin for a total of forty years.

Arabella is preceded in death by her parents Alberto and Aurora B. Gonzalez, and her baby brother Alberto Gonzalez, Jr.

Arabella is survived by her husband Heriberto (Eddie) Adame of Austin; daughters Adriana (Brian) Arias of Houston and Gabriella (Ricky) Yanez, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jacob and Aaron Arias and Olivia and Isabella Yanez; her sisters, Ada A. Gonzalez, Angela G. Gomez and Anna Maria (Alfonso) Mendiola of Laredo; her brothers and sisters in-law. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 25, 2018, from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, Laredo, Texas 78040. A Holy rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, departing the funeral home at 8:40 a.m. to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
