Antonio R. Colunga, 94 years, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; Ricardo and Juanita Colunga

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 year of marriage Juanita H. Colunga, children; Antonio R. (Dora) Colunga, Juan J. (Jessica) Colunga, Sara A. Colunga and Norma E. Colunga, grandchildren; Carmen Colunga (Bryant) Spencer, Veronica (Nate) Smith, Juan J. Colunga, Jr., Antonio R. (Alexandria) Colunga III, Vanessa Colunga, Kimberly Villarreal, Joseph Villarreal, Carlos Colunga (partner, Katelyn Sandoval), Alexander Colunga Spratte, Javier (Tamara) Colunga, Christina Colunga (partner) Spencer and Cassandra Spratte, Great-grandchildren; Amías, Jovan Jayla, Nijah and Malik, Luciana, Sierra and Juliana, Adrian, Isabella, Malakai and Mariana, Also survived by; nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and friends .

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, July 15, 2026 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased a Rosary will be commenced at 7 p.m.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday morning, July 16, 2026 departing at 9 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan J. Colunga Sr., Juan J. Colunga Jr., Carlos Colunga, Joseph Villarreal, Alexander Colunga Spratte, Antonio Ricardo Colunga III, Bryant Spencer and Jovan Smith
