Angel Martin Zaragoza, 60, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, August 21, 2025 surrounded by his loving family by his side.
Martin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend whose life was defined by love, dedication, and service to others. Born on Christmas Day, he was a true gift to all who knew him. He dedicated 33 years of hard work to El Metro, where he was respected and admired by colleagues. Outside of work, Martin embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed golfing, kayaking, fishing, biking, hunting, and camping at Garner State Park, but above all, he treasured the time spent with his family. Whether at cookouts, in the kitchen perfecting his salsas, or working on home projects, Martin brought joy, warmth, and laughter to every gathering.
A passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Martin also had a love for collecting unique items that reflected his interests. His accomplishments were many he proudly won first place at the Texas State Roadeo representing El Metro, served as Hunt Master for the Texas Youth Hunters Program since 2011, and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 657.
