ALVARO OMAR JAUREGUE

NOVEMBER 4, 1985 – SEPTEMBER 18, 2021

Alvaro Omar Jauregue, 35, entered into the heavenly gates on September 18, 2021.

Alvaro Omar “Guero” Jauregue was born on November 4, 1985 in Falfurrias, Texas to Dino Jauregue and Selma Arredondo. Growing up, Guero was a very sweet, considerate and thoughtful child. Except when playing video games. Video games brought out the competitive and hard-working side of him. This trait also made him athletic and made him strive for victory.  Guero participated in an array of school sports. He enjoyed football, powerlifting, baseball and karate.  His passion for baseball grew with him into his adulthood as Guero loved coaching his son's baseball teams.

Guero was the epitome of a family man.  He enjoyed spontaneous trips to visit and spend time with his friends, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and mom.  Guero often took his family out for fun family outings as he relished in seeing the joy in their faces.  He would show his love for family time as he would flood his camera roll with endless amounts of photos of his family.  Guero valued family time and capturing precious memories as often as he could.  And he made sure to share those photos with everyone he loved in an effort to share his happiness with them.  He was a giver.  He loved to give his time to others and he loved to give gifts.  Guero was the type to become very excited buying gifts for people he loved and couldn’t contain his excitement at times as he would sometimes not wait and give his loved ones their gifts a little early.  He just couldn’t wait to see their excitement and loved to make others happy.  Guero was always so thoughtful and would really show his enthusiasm being able to make others feel special.  Guero enjoyed watching funny movies.  One of his best traits was perfectly quoting funny lines in almost any situation at hand.

Guero was a very sweet brother and an even sweeter uncle and always looked forward to our next opportunity to get together as a family.  He will always be remembered for the love and compassion he had for his family and especially for the children in his family who he proved he would go to the ends of the earth for without hesitation.  He was the best father figure, husband, friend and uncle.  He is already terribly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father Dino Alberto Jauregue.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved spouse: Jessica Castillo Jauregue; children: Quinton Blaze Jauregue, Noah Baltazar Flores, Ophelia Jade Jauregue, Penelope Colette Jauregue; mother: Selma S. DeLeon; siblings:  Aaron Jauregue and Aleyda (Raul) Narvaez; parents-in-law: Baltazar and Diana Ramos; sister-in-law: Amanda Marie (David) Ramos Rubalcava, as well as by a great number of extend relatives and friends.
