Alicia Vela

It is with great joy that we will remember her kind and loving spirit, gentle and loving heart.-Our dearest and greatest Alicia left her earthly home after 95 long and loved filled years.-To us she was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.-She instilled in us great virtues such as respect, love, kindness and a sense of family unity.-Alicia was the matriarch of a wonderful family, who even until her later years, she had a beautiful smile and demeanor.-Her parting has left us a void in our hearts that will be filled with countless memories of her devotion to us, her family.-She will continue to live within our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ludovico Vela and by her great- grandson Joseph D. Ramirez.

Alicia is survived by her daughter, Ofelia (+Heberto) Ramirez; her grandchildren, Anna Laura Ramirez, Heberto (Rosa) Ramirez, Jaime (Alicia) Ramirez, Sara (Jorge) Rodriguez, Christina (Abraham) Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Jorge (Cristina) Rodriguez Jr., Celina Rodriguez, Heberto Ramirez, Abraham Rodriguez IV, Jacob Rodriguez; as well as other family and friends.
