Alfredo “Fred” de Luna, Jr.
August 23, 1964-April 23, 2020
Alfredo “Fred” de Luna Jr., entered into eternal rest peacefully in his home surrounded by his family after a graceful and courageous battle of eight months with Cancer on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at the age of 55.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo “Sonny” de Luna Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years Iracema; his mother Nelly; his children Alfredo, Alberto (Cindy), and Andrea; his two grandsons Albert Jr. and Matthew; his brothers & sisters Nellie Tijerina (Pete), Alexandrina Gonzalez (Ricardo), Alejandro de Luna (Valentina), Carlos de Luna (Jackie), and Patricia de Luna; mother-in-law (Aurora) and sisters-in-law Ana (Leny), and Patricia (Ernesto). In addition, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
Fred was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a devoted son and brother. He will always be remembered for his charisma. Everyone who knew Fred will always remember him as being a selfless individual who was always willing to lend a helping hand to others and touched the lives of many people.
Lifelong friendships were built during his days at Mary Help of Christians School and St. Augustine high school. Fred was an avid hunter and outdoors-man, he truly enjoyed sharing that with his children and grandchildren. During his time off, he always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends playing cornhole and golf. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a service will be held in his memory on a later date.
