Alberto Tamez

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, God called our beloved Alberto Tamez to his heavenly home. His parting has left a void in our hearts that will never be replaced, but will continue to live on forever in our many cherished and unforgettable memories.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Antonio Tamez III and Angela Leyva Tamez; granddaughter: Cristina Nicole Arriaga.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 38 years of marriage: Leticia Burgos Tamez; children: Monica Bustamante (Juan), Veronica Tamez, Melissa Tamez (Brandon Hightower), Alberto Tamez Jr. (Karen), and Johnny Garcia; grandchildren: Alynna Monique Ramos, Enrique Javier Ramos Jr., Alberto Julian Bustamante, Aiden Noel Tamez, Kamila Natali Tamez, Aria Victoria Tamez, and Bryan Hightower; siblings: Antonio Tamez IV (Susy), Rosario Amesquita (Rodolfo), Belia Sanchez (Armando), Cecilia Ramos (Martin), Daniel Tamez (Cheney), Erica Martinez, and Adriana Tamez; brother in law: Crispin Burgos Jr. and sister in law Laura (Ruben) Burgos Jimenez, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 4 until 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral chapel at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Alberto Tamez Jr., Johnny Garcia, Daniel Tamez, Antonio Tamez IV, Brandon Hightower, Martin Ramos, Juan Bustamante, and Ruben Jimenez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Crispin Burgos Jr. and Aiden Noel Tamez.
