ALBERTO “BETO” PATRICIO MENDOZA
August 7, 1996 – December 9, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alberto Patricio Mendoza, known affectionately as Beto, who departed from this world on December 9th, 2023. Beto was a cherished and gentle soul, dedicated wholeheartedly to his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Remy.
Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Beto graduated as a forever Knight from St. Augustine High School, where he not only excelled academically but also found joy in playing basketball and supporting his classmates at countless school events.
Throughout his professional life, Beto’s commitment, intelligence, expert guidance, and quiet confidence were evident to all who worked alongside him.
Those who crossed paths with Beto remember him by his impeccable sense of style, his warm bear hugs, and his infectious laugh that could light up a room. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: being outdoors, playing video games, and playing basketball with his friends. He loved spending quality time with loved ones, snowboarding in the snow-capped mountains of Colorado, and Sundays at his family ranch, La Selva.
A passionate cook, Beto shared his love through the meals he prepared, like his mouth-watering frijoles and carne asada. His cousins held a special place in his heart, and his devotion to family was unparalleled.
Though Beto has departed from this world, his spirit remains eternally present in the hearts and memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In honoring Beto’s memory, we want to cherish the moments shared and celebrate a life that profoundly touched us. His absence will be deeply felt, but he leaves behind an enduring legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will continue to inspire and resonate for generations to come.
