Adelfa Tijerina

Miss Adelfa Tijerina, 78, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 10, 2018.

She was preceded in death by parents, Amador and Guadalupe Tijerina; her brother Amador Tijerina, Jr.; her sister Amada (Isaac, Jr.) Villarreal; her nephews, Eddie Tijerina and Albert Tijerina.

She is survived by her sisters, Anita (Gilberto) Mendiola and Adela (Isaac) Amaro; sister in law Maria Tijerina. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

A special thanks to Isaac Villarreal III and Alma Amaro for always having been at her side.

The family will receive condolences on Monday morning, August 13, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a chapel service will commence at 11:30 a.m.

A chapel service will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Funeral procession will depart immediately after.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Danny Villarreal, Rene Solis, Albert Estrada, Louie Tijerina, Anthony Gonzalez, and Jose Luis Ceja.
