It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Aaliyah Muñoz, who left this world peacefully on July 9, 2026, the very day of her birth. In her brief time with us, Baby Muñoz touched the hearts of those who had the honor of surrounding her with love.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alonzo and Rosa Muñoz.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Eduardo E. Muñoz and Raquel Adriana Yanez; her adoring brothers, Marcus Muñoz, Royce Muñoz, and Isaiah Muñoz; and her maternal grandparents, Silvia and Vicente Yanez. In addition, Baby Aaliyah Muñoz leaves behind a wide circle of family that includes her maternal aunts & uncles, Marcus Yanez and Veronica Yanez, paternal aunts, Jessica (Isaac Paredes) Muñoz, Dennise (Roland) De La Cruz, and numerous cousins and other loving relatives.
The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday morning, July 18, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Chapel Service will commence at 10 a.m. Procession will be departing at 10:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to the Laredo City Cemetery.
